History and Information

Milton Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons was founded in 1922, a "daughter" of Macedonian Lodge which also met in Milton.  Both Lodges met at the Milton Masonic Building on Adams Street in Milton Lower Mills and shared ownership of the building.  Milton Lodge encourages and draws most of its membership from the Town of Milton, Massachusetts, but has received applications from many in surrounding communities.  The Lodge also focuses its charitable giving to worthwhile causes in Milton.   Unfortunately, the upkeep of this building proved too expensive, and Milton Lodge moved to a few locations before settling in its current home at the historic Hingham Masonic Building.

Among Milton Lodge's many charitable and social activities are an annual Oktoberfest for charity, Toys for Tots event, Child Identification Program(CHIP) event, Special Olympics volunteering, and Superbowl Party for charity.
